Spot Welding Machine

Description
Spot welding machine, also known as spot welder, is used to join contacting metal surfaces by the heat obtained from resistance to electric current. It makes use of the heat generated by welding current to form partial melted work pieces and form welding spot under the pressure.

Working Principle
Spot welding machine or spot welder adopts double spot over current welding principle. Under the pressure of two electrodes, metal work pieces generate certain contact resistance. The welding current flows from one electrode to another and hot melting connection is formed between the two points of contact resistance. What’s more, the welding current flows to this connecting electrode along two work pieces, and then a circuit comes into being, without damaging the internal structure of the welded work pieces.
