Classification
Water heater tank welding line can be classified into the following three types:
1. Through-Type Straight Seam Welding Machine
1. It adopts pass-type or through type structure. The cylinder enters from the front and exits from the back. Such seam welding machine is equipped with independent loading and unloading mechanism. Loading and unloading can be done simultaneously so as to improve the working efficiency. Besides, our water heater tank welding line can make use of the following optional techniques:
1) SAW Filaments Submerged Arc Welding (Welding Speed: 1.8 to 2.5 m/min)
2) PAW Plasma Welding (Welding Speed: 0.6 to 0.9 m/min)
3) TIG Argon Tungsten Arc Welding (Welding Speed: 0.4 to 0.6 m/min)
Through-type straight seam welding machine is capable of automatically conducting feeding and discharging, and joint welding. Besides, many SAW, PAW and TIG technological equipment is optional, such as automatic wire cutting device, automatic welding slag removal equipment, automatic wire feeder and arc height control system, etc.

2. Tunnel-Type Straight Seam Welding Machine
This water heater tank welding line employs tunnel-type structure. The tank enters from the front and exits from the back. Cylinder moving and welding torch fixed are utilized to carry out welding process. Optional welding techniques are as the follow:

1) PAW Plasma Welding (Welding Speed: 0.6 to 0.9 m/min)

2) TIG Argon Tungsten Arc Welding (Welding Speed: 0.4 to 0.6 m/min)

In addition, tunnel-type straight seam welding machine can automatically conducting feeding and discharging, and joint welding. This water heater tank welding line can be configured with some PAW and TIG technological equipment, such as automatic wire cutting device, automatic wire feeder, etc.

3. Tank Shell Straight Seam Welding Machine (C Shaped Straight Seam Welder)
Such water heater tank welding line makes use of C shaped structure with tank entering from the front and exiting from the back. Such straight welding machine makes good use of fixed cylinder and walking welding torch to carry out welding process. Optional welding crafts are as follows:
1) SAW Filaments Submerged Arc Welding (Welding Speed: 1.8 to 2.5 m/min)
2) PAW Plasma Welding (Welding Speed: 0.6 to 0.9 m/min)

The feeding and discharging process can be done manually while the welding process is fully automatic. Automatic wire feeder and arc height control system are optional for this type of straight seam welding machine.
